Charity Aber

Charity is in Primary 6 and loves reading. She borrows every book she can find and dreams of becoming a journalist who tells the stories of her community to the world.

Background

Charity lives with her aunt after being orphaned. Her aunt works as a market vendor and could barely afford to send her own children to school, let alone Charity.

Impact

Since joining the Kwan program, Charity has won multiple prizes in essay writing competitions. She writes a small newsletter for her school that features stories about students and their achievements.
