Beatrice Auma

Beatrice completed vocational training in tailoring through the Kwan Skills Training program. She now runs a successful tailoring shop in Oyam town center.

Background

As a young mother who dropped out of school at 15, Beatrice had limited options for earning a living. The Kwan vocational program gave her the skills and confidence to start her own business.

Impact

Beatrice now employs two apprentices and trains other young women in tailoring. She is a role model in her community and regularly speaks at Kwan events about the power of skills development.
